Smethwick
Our Keyholding Services in Smethwick
Smethwick borders Birmingham and has a long industrial history, with factory units and workshops sitting alongside the busy Cape Hill shopping area and residential streets around Bearwood. Clients here include businesses that do not want a manager driving in at 2am because an alarm went off, with sites including factory units, workshops, high-street shops around Cape Hill and mixed-use buildings.
Our keyholding services in Smethwick take the out-of-hours callout off your team. We hold your keys off site, coded and logged, and when your alarm company or a neighbour reports a problem, an SIA-licensed officer attends, checks the building inside and out, resets the alarm where it is safe to do so and locks up. You get a written report of what was found and what was done, usually before you are back at your desk.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do keyholding services work in Smethwick?
We collect and code your keys, agree your alarm and access instructions, and connect with your alarm receiving centre. When an activation comes in, an officer attends your Smethwick site, carries out a full inspection, deals with the cause and sends you a written report.
Which areas of Smethwick do you cover?
We cover Smethwick and nearby areas, including Bearwood, Cape Hill, Soho and Londonderry. Send us your postcode and we will confirm cover.
Where are my keys kept?
Your keys are stored off site in a secure key vault. Each set is coded so it cannot be linked to your address, and every time a key is issued or returned it is logged.
Are your officers SIA-licensed?
Yes. Every officer we deploy holds a valid SIA licence and is vetted to BS 7858.
Do you cover nights, weekends and bank holidays?
Yes. Our control centre runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Can I cover more than one site?
Yes. Sites in Smethwick and elsewhere in the UK can sit under one agreement with a single point of contact.
How much do keyholding services cost in Smethwick?
It depends on the number of sites, how many keys we hold and the level of response you need. Send us your details and we will give you a clear quote.
