Smethwick
Our Opening and Closing Security Services in Smethwick
Smethwick borders Birmingham and has a long industrial history, with factory units and workshops sitting alongside the busy Cape Hill shopping area and residential streets around Bearwood. Clients here include sites where opening and closing has to happen on time, even when staff are not available, with sites including factory units, workshops, high-street shops around Cape Hill and mixed-use buildings.
Our opening and closing security services in Smethwick take care of the first and last jobs of the day. An officer opens your premises at the agreed time, unsets the alarm and checks the building is as it should be. At close, they make sure everyone has left, check doors, windows and power, set the alarm and lock up. Every visit is logged.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do opening and closing security services work in Smethwick?
We agree your opening and closing times, checklists and alarm details. An officer attends your Smethwick site at those times and records each visit.
Which areas of Smethwick do you cover?
We cover Smethwick and nearby areas, including Bearwood, Cape Hill, Soho and Londonderry. Send us your postcode and we will confirm cover.
What do you check when closing a building?
We check the building is empty, doors and windows are secure, lights and equipment are off as agreed, and the alarm is set. Anything unusual is noted in your report.
Are your officers SIA-licensed?
Yes. Every officer we deploy holds a valid SIA licence and is vetted to BS 7858.
Do you cover nights, weekends and bank holidays?
Yes. Our control centre runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Can I cover more than one site?
Yes. Sites in Smethwick and elsewhere in the UK can sit under one agreement with a single point of contact.
How much do opening and closing security services cost in Smethwick?
It depends on how many sites you have, how often you need opening and closing and the checks involved. Send us your details and we will give you a clear quote.
